Emet public register
Verify a certificate
Enter the number printed on the certificate, or scan its QR code. The register is read live — a status can change at any time.
Where is the number?
It appears twice on every Emet certificate: in the field band beneath the product table, and again in the footer. It always reads EMET-YYYY-NNNN, or EMET-P-YYYY-NNNN for a Passover certificate.
What the statuses mean
- Valid
- In force. The holder is under active Emet supervision for the products listed.
- Suspended
- Supervision is paused. Product made in this period is not covered.
- Withdrawn
- Permanently revoked. It must not be used or displayed.
- Expired
- The validity period ended and was not renewed.
Holding a PDF?
Every Emet certificate prints an integrity code taken from the file itself. It answers a different question from the number: not “is this certificate in force” but “is this file byte-for-byte the one we produced”. Check an integrity code.
