Emet public register

Verify a certificate

Enter the number printed on the certificate, or scan its QR code. The register is read live — a status can change at any time.

Where is the number?

It appears twice on every Emet certificate: in the field band beneath the product table, and again in the footer. It always reads EMET-YYYY-NNNN, or EMET-P-YYYY-NNNN for a Passover certificate.

What the statuses mean

Valid
In force. The holder is under active Emet supervision for the products listed.
Suspended
Supervision is paused. Product made in this period is not covered.
Withdrawn
Permanently revoked. It must not be used or displayed.
Expired
The validity period ended and was not renewed.

Holding a PDF?

Every Emet certificate prints an integrity code taken from the file itself. It answers a different question from the number: not “is this certificate in force” but “is this file byte-for-byte the one we produced”. Check an integrity code.
